The USA Women's National Soccer Team was in Seattle to play a couple of in the Gold Cup. The top 2 teams qualify for the World Cup 2003 in China. We were able to attend one of practices leading up to a semi-final game against Costa Rica. The practice was held at the Seattle University. We were four of about 100 people to witness the practice. Brock and Maddy played behind one of the goals for 90 minutes. After practice, the team graciously signed autographs and talked with their fans. These players are the best at their sport, as well as a good group of people.
