We attended at book signing of Mary Pope Osborne and Will Osborne at Third Place Books in Lake Forest. Mary writes Brock and Maddy's favorite book series called the Magic Tree House series. They were able to get the following Merlin Mission books of the series signed: Night of the New Magicians, Christmas in Camelot, Carnival at Candlight. Mary's husband helps write the wonderful, complimentary research guides. Mary told Brock and Maddy they looked just like the heroes of the Magic Tree House series - Jack and Annie. Maddy then said she wished she would write a book on Peru. Mary responded by saying that was an excellent suggestion and they she may do it some day. Jack and Annie beamed all the way to our next adventure, the Irish Festival at the Seattle Center. Because of the series, Dane is able to recognize the State of Pennsylvania. All the Magic Tree House stories start in Frog Creek, PA.
