Brock was celebrated as the Seattle Public Library Northgate Branch winner of the Summer Reading 2006 program. The Breakfast of Champions took place at the Sheraton hosted by King 5 anchorman Dennis Bounds. He commented that Brock has the handshake of a future politician. Our local librarian, Marita, escorted Brock to the podium. She is orginally from Lima, Peru.
