We attended a free Meet Your Team event at the Key Arena to kick off the WBNA Seattle Storm's upcoming season. We sat through a practice, a Q&A session, then the players individually got close up and personal for more questions.

The stadium and new owners are currently a hot issue. There is a possibility that this will be the Sonics and Storm's last season in Seattle. Always about money and greed. The Key Arena was updated not all that long ago to add more seating. It seems to me to be a very fine place to watch a basketball game. But alas, 17,000 seats are not enough, even if the teams rarely sell out. And the arena needs to be updated to add every kind of amenity available, else the team just can't survive. Plus, some city council members don't think professional sports teams add value to the city. Total bull cookies in my opinion. I could rant on and on, but this is not the place for it.
