We headed up to Samish Island (really a peninsula) for a long weekend with Grandma visiting from Wisconsin. We stayed in a beautiful waterfront house looking out to Guemes Island and other San Juan Islands. We spotted 16 bald eagles and dozens of blue herons and found many sand dollars. Brock learned how to skip a rock.

Maddy and Brock slept in this small loft while Dane took the bed next to it.
Grandma and Mom visited the daffodils in Skagit Valley.
Eating S'mores at dusk.
Hike along the Samish Island shore with Cuzco.

Brock and Papa found the gravesite of Harry Samish, a chief of the Samish tribe who died in 1899.
