The State Chess Championships were in the Tri-Cities, Pasco, this year. The Lowell team had another high finish. One evening, we went to dinner at family-owned Carmine's Italian Restaurant in Kennewick. Another, we spent watching the Lyrid meteor shower and satellites move across the night sky.
