Math-obsessed Brock and I attended a lecture from quirky Cédric Villani at Seattle's Town Hall. It was very interesting, funny, and thoughtful. Cédric Villani is a French mathematician who is recognized as one of the great modern mathematical minds. Though he dresses more like someone from a previous century and wears spider brooches.
