Evening spent walking around the lovely Stadium District in Tacoma and ending up at the Ice Cream Social shop. Stadium High School started off as a hotel in 1891 but converted to a public high school in 1904. Stadium Bowl was added in 1910 (Babe Ruth and the Yankees played an exhibition there in 1924). The First Presbyterian Church has an interesting octagonal tiled cupola decorated with various Christian symbols.
