Celebrating life at Canlis. No special reason other than the kid's first fine-dining experience and school's out for summer! Highlights were the Alaskan spot prawns (with vermouth, butter, lime) and beets (soy milk, sunflower seed, radish, honeycomb) at course one, barley porridge (geoduck, green strawberry, sorrel) at course two, filet mignon at course three, and the souffle (orange cuaracao, creme anglaise, warm madeleines) and strawberries (champagne foam, vanilla sable, douglas fir).
