IHS boys played at the National Invite in Rockford, IL. A bit of a rough tournament due to organization and weather. Four of the players arrived late due to prom the night before. However they did finish 13th, above their seed, and defeated Garfield, a rival school from Seattle. Hale, another Seattle team took 2nd place. Two of Papa's friends from Madison visited him in Rockford. After the tourney we went up to the Madison, WI, area and met up with Grandpa Grassy, Papa's high school prom date Sue, college friends Chris, Susie, Aunt Joannie and Cousin Kate. We also spent a night in Ocononmowoc with Grandma Merlin and spent time with Aunt Jan.
