On the way to the Population Office in Renens for the first time to file for his residence permit.

Papa at CHUV Urgent Care for an anaphylactic reaction to ingesting farine de sarrasin (buckwheat flour) at the hotel. EpiPen used for the first time prior to leaving for the hospital. The nurse taught him the word culotte which means briefs or underwear, as she asked that he get down to his culotte before putting on the gown. The staff, besides the attending doctor, spoke almost exclusively French.

Dr. Adam Scott Feiner, came over to Switzerland as a kid kicking and screaming as he didn't want to leave NY. Still in Lausanne decades later.

On 17.09.2018, Brock and I visited Lali's family (Plivo, Taia, Lali, Robbie) and dog Pico in the small town at the Les Deurres train stop near Neuchâtel. Plivo made pork cutlets, rice, and veggies for lunch. He is wearing an apron from his mother. What a mom gift!

Heading to the Population Office for the 4th time on 18.09.2018 in search of the Golden Ticket, the D'attestation de Residence.

Success obtaining the D'attestation de Residence! With this we were able to open a bank account, obtain a SIM card and mobile contract, and purchase a Swiss rail pass and a half fare card!

Going out to dinner on my last night, 19.09.2018, Brock and I took the bus in the wrong direction and ended up in Enchandens. Lost and loving every seconds of it!
