Maddy and Brock turned 7 years old on the last weekend before the school year started. Maddy decided to throw a carnival birthday party. Mom and the kids made several games, such as a penny pitch, pin the nose on the clown, pick a duck, shuffle board, putting, bowling, guessing jar. We were able to host the party at a neighborhood church basement. Half way into the fiesta, a special guest arrived and put on a fantastic magic show. Magician Jeff Evans kept the kids and adults entertained for an hour with his amazing and wacky show. Highlights included the sniffing pet chicken card trick, the disappearing water trick, and balloon hats for all.
