Once in Oconomowoc, we spent much time in Silver Lake escaping the hot, muggy weather and mosquitoes. This is the first time that I have seen algae blooming in the lake. Unfortunately, zebra mussels have also invaded all lakes in southern Wisconsin. We didn't notice any three years ago. We were the targets of two scavenger hunts. In Minocqua, a group of scaveger hunters asked us to pose with YMCA arm letters. At the state fair, scavenger hunters located Maddy and Brock wearing socks with sandals.
