Volcano Facts:
- Krakatau is a volcanic island in Indonesia and is in the Ring of Fire.
- When it erupted in 1883, it made the loudest sound ever reported. The eruption destroyed most of the island of Krakatau.
- New eruptions at the volcano since 1927 have built a new island, called Anak Krakatau (child of Krakatau).
Someday, I might become a vulcanologist!
