This year's family costumes were inspired by a brief animal racing scene in the 1960 Swiss Family Robinson movie. Brock dressed up as Colonel Sanders riding a rooster. Maddy and Dane were jockeys. Maddy rode an ostrich and Dane rode a flamingo. We spent time trick-or-treating around Sandpoint Country Club and Laurelhurst neighborhoods. Notably, this is the final year of the planned group costumes.
